This piece was fabricated around a single slab of stone which the client appreciated for the natural beauty of the grain. We were given a budget and told to be creative, nothing more. Incorporating acrylic, oak, stone, colour phasing RGB lighting, water, borosilicate glass and bio-ethanol, The Elements is the result. Water is pumped from a sump through four under lit holes in the capstone which then cascades over the edge of the capstone and back into the sump. Earth (stone), wind (sound), fire and water. A striking piece around which the client has landscaped the rest of his garden.
